Criticism
Anthony Hopkins can be an exceptional, one in a million actor, but he can not be a perfect person in every way. What he doesn’t lack in professional life, he lacks in personal life; Involvement.
While portraying Hannibal Lecter, or the demonic ventriloquist of Magic, one could see how Hopkins became the character, as if he is living it. The truth is that the fullest he lived are the times he acted. All came out in open when Hopkins was asked if he has any grandchildren. He replied:
“I don’t have any idea. People break up. Families split and, you know, ‘get on with your life’. People make choices. I don’t care one way or the other.”
This truly showed that Abigail Hopkins, daughter of Anthony Hopkins and his first wife Petronella Barker, has no relationship with her father. It is reported that the father and daughter had been living apart, without talking to each other for more than two decades.
While Anthony keeps defending on his side, saying if the other person cannot keep up with the relationship, he doesn’t want to either. But as the saying goes, every coin has two sides, so does every story.
Why did the Hopkins Part Away?
