Brooke Christa Shields (Christa is her middle name) was born in the house of businessperson Frank Shields and model Teri Shields on the 31st of May 1965. Her birth occurred in Manhattan city.
When she was only 5, her parents were divorced. Shields grew up among 3 half-sisters and 2 stepbrothers.
During her growing period, her mother motivated Shields to remain active in the show business. Alongside this, she encouraged Shields to pursue ballet, horse riding, and piano lessons.
