Faith Renée Evans was born in 1973, in Florida USA. Faith was brought up with music, as her parents were musicians. However, her father left them a few months after she was born. Faith shifted to New Jersey with her mother. There she was fostered by her mother’s cousin, along with 100 other children. Faith started singing for the church.

She started singing in various assemblies and pageants. In 1991 she graduated from Newark’s University High School. She joined the university to study marketing but had to drop out as she got pregnant by Kiyamma Griffin.
