Johnny Knoxville was born in Knoxville, Tennessee as Philip John Clapp to Philip and Lemoyne Clapp on March 11, 1971. His father was a tire/car salesman, he died in 2018. His mother died in 2017, she used to teach Sunday School. He has two elder sisters.
