Early life
Carlsen’s full name is Sven Magnus UØn Carlsen. He was born on November 30, 1990, in TØnsberg, Norway.
His father, Henrik Albert Carlsen is an IT consultant, and mother Sigrun Øen is a chemical engineer. Carlsen has three sisters. The family moved around a lot and finally settled in Halsum which is a district in the municipality of Baerum, Norway.
