Early Life

His birthplace is in the Dominican Republic from where his mother belongs. Being born on March 17, 1980, he has a Pisces zodiac sign. Nicky’s father belonged from Puerto Rico.

He was raised by the name Nick Rivera Caminero and changed to his stage name Nicky Jam. At the age of ten, he moved to Puerto Rico. His Indie label was erased and he gained popularity there as a hip-hop artist. There he met Daddy Yankee and was quickly noticed by the musician.
