Early Life
Ron White was born on 18th of December 1956, in Fritch, Texas, to Charles Don White and Barbara Joan Craig. In 1976, he graduated from Deer Park High School, near Houston, Texas after which he served The United States Navy from the age of 17.
He was part of the auxiliary rescue as well as the salvage ship named USS Conserver towards the termination of the Vietnam War. He served the Navy for eighteen months under the salvage ship and after that, he left the Military.
From a tender age itself, he wanted to become a standup comedian. Hence, after leaving the US Navy, he lived in Mexico for a short period of time and bought a pottery factory before arriving in the US for pursuing comedy.
In September 1986, Ron was talked into reciting jokes by a friend at an open mike at a comedy club in Arlington, Texas, in front of a huge audience. Among the audience present, there was Jeff Foxworthy also who now happens to be a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Club too.
