Ryan Allen Sheckler was born on 30th December, 1989. San Clemente, California is his hometown. His parents are Gretchen and Randy Sheckler. They have two other sons, Kane and Shane.
Ryan first started skateboarding at just eighteen months when he showed interest in his father’s skateboard.
Getting encouragement and support from his father, Ryan did his first Kickflip at the age of six years old, his father proudly states.
Afterward, he would spend countless hours practicing his sport at the custom Skatepark in his backyard built by this father.
In 2012, at an interview for Network A, an internet based platform, Sheckler said that the San Clemente Park is where he first began skateboarding and that he was even a part of the park’s opening.
