Early Life
Bach grew up in Peterborough, Ontario, after being born in the Bahamas. He was the youngest of eight children. His brother Zac Bierk plays ice hockey. He is the brother of actress Dylan Bierk.
He used to be a choir boy for a church at the age of 8. He loved singing “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” with them. Bach went to Lakefield College School. It was in his school days when he fell for rock music. There is not much information about Sebastian’s education.
His father David Bierk (d. 2002) was a well-known painter. He created an album cover for Skid Row and inner cover art for a few other band’s albums, one of Bach’s solo recordings and solo effort.
Career
Wikkid Kid (1983–1985)
Kid Wikkid’s members were based in Peterborough, Ontario. 14-year-old Bach auditioned for them, unaware of the required ages, and was recruited by guitarist and bandleader Jason Delorme.
Skid Row (1987–1996)
These are the most important years of his career with full of controversies.
Skid Row was formed in the mid-1980s with fronting the group as lead vocalist, and they began playing at various clubs around the New Jersey area. Fallon left the band in 1987, leaving Dave Sabo in search of a lead vocalist. Bach heard about the opening and flew to New Jersey to audition.
He became the band’s lead vocalist in 1987. Skid Row gained materialistic success for their two debut albums Slave to the Grind (1991) and Skid Row (1989).
Broadway and Other Projects (1996–2006)
The Last Hard Men was an initiative of Bach In 1996. In 1999, Baz released his first solo album “Bring ‘Em Bach Alive!” He began playing in Broadway productions in 2000. A DVD video of live stage performances named Forever Wild was released in June 2004. Bach co-joined Axl Rose on stage with the song “My Michelle”.
SuperGroup and Angel Down (2006–2010)
Bach with Scott Ian, Ted Nugent, Evan Seinfeld, and Jason Bonham starred in the VH1 show Supergroup in May 2006. The mighty five musicians formed a band called “Fist” which later changed in the reality show to “Democracy”.
Big Noize (2012–2013)
Big Noize was an All-Star band consisting of founder member and drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven & Hell) Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot), Bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne), and vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow).
Give ‘Em Hell (2013–present)
With this, Bob Marlette returned as producer. Bach made a partnership with Steve Stevens, John 5, and Duff McKagan for the upcoming releases.

Criticism
Bach was fired from the Skid row band in 1996 after disagreements over musical material. Later on, infuriating Bolan, the disagreement between Sebastian Bach and the other coworkers regarding the KISS show and Prunella Scales gradually forced him to stay out of Skid Row. 4 years posterior, Skid Row performed the opening play of 2000 Kiss Farewell Tour. Sebastian wasn’t a part anymore.
In 1991, Bach faced severe controversy after putting on a tee that said, “AIDS Kills Fags Dead”. This troubled his reputation and lowered fan following the same year.
He later asked for forgiveness for wearing that t-shirt and passing on ill perception on a show on MTV. He said he wore it without reading the text properly as the shirt was thrown by a fan.
